谁需要独立影像？
独立影像在中国是小众的，只有少数从业者坚持下来，只让少数观者产生兴趣并热情关注，只在小范围内产生影响。这是现状，却不是未来。
因为没有真正意义上的观众，观众是需要后天建构与培养。而当人渴望沟通时，是可以跨越一切界限，克服诸多困难。在雷磊影像展的帮助下，将给予“少数人的志同道合”关于“自我与外在世界的自省，造就积极回应与对话”可能。
Who needs Indie Films？
Today’s Independent Films in China have only a small number of viewers， with only a handful of practitioners， and usually， attract only small audiences。 This is the present situation， but not the future prospects。
It is necessary for an audience to grow。 When people desire to communicate， they can overcome difficulties， and cross all the boundaries。 Lei Lei’s film exhibition is an unique opportunity for like-minded minority “not only redefine yourself in the outside world but create a dialogue”。

Artist / Filmmaker
1985 Born in Nanchang， Jiangxi Province，?An experimental animation artist with his hands on video arts， painting， installation， music and VJ performance also。
In 2009 He got a master‘s degree in animation from Tsinghua University。
In 2010， his film < This is LOVE> was shown at Ottawa International Animation Festival and awarded The 2010 Best Narrative Short。
In 2013 his film <Recycled> was selected by Annecy festival and was the Winner Grand Prix shorts - non-narrative at Holland International Animation Film Festival。
In 2014 he is the Jury of Zagreb / Holland International Animation Film Festival。 And he was the winner of 2014 asian cultural council grant。

2014 年担任萨各勒布国际动画节，荷兰国际动画节评委。同年获得亚洲文化协会蔡国强奖学金。

9月23日将在諝空間|SNARTE SPACE 举办雷磊影像展“一个人的美术电影制片厂”，展出9部彩色动画电影短片 和 3部实验影像短片。
“One Person’s Animation Studio” | The film exhibition is presented at SNARTE SPACE from September 23 and consists of 9 animated short films and 3 experimental films。
彩色魔方与乒乓球
这个念头就是爱随着雷磊走出中国，走向国际，他的作品类型由最初的彩色动画短片一步步走向更加抽象的实验影像；而他的彩色动画短片用丰富的颜色传达复古感，用奇异的联想构建极强的画面感，用趣味式的音乐将推动非叙事性的短片“剧情发展”，创造了一个时间线的微观世界；但雷磊的实验影像作品中观众更多的感受到的是一种精神性的跨界表达。
具体表现在艺术表达方面，他由从非叙事性、实验性到内省性、精神性逐渐转变。这与他始终认为真诚的去表达远胜于作品的形式感密不可分，并且由于不断的深挖儿时记忆与个人体验这一创作源泉，让作品的外在形态与他的内心世界得以统一协调。
Lei Lei had started his career in China and soon became an international filmmaker。 At the very beginning， his art works consisted of color animated short films， then he made a step toward more abstract and experimental works。 The color pallet he uses in his animation， the music， include sound effects， and technique creates an atmosphere of a vintage film。 While his experimental short films are filled with some spiritual sense。
Lei Lei‘s life is varied， so his art went through some changes， from non-narrative to experimental， even introversive in some sense。 But his honesty is what remains unchanged.His art is an expression of his inner world， his memories， his childhood.That’s why he believes that it’s extremely important， to be honest with the audience。

对“雷磊”这个客体的重新定义
就此次展览的作品而言，这是雷磊必须出现在展场的影像作品，是一个类似电影放映的影像展览；而借助“物自体”这个词，（康德认为，物自体在认识论领域，是感性的来源、理性的理念和认识的界限；也是理解感觉材料、外部客观实在内容的来源问题。）这个康德批判哲学大厦的基石来解读雷磊，是源于雷磊的作品意图所传达出的一个观念：他是一个以当代艺术的关照介入到独立动画的创作，至少在作品里，我们可以看到这样的痕迹。雷磊希望并尝试以独立动画成为他介入当代艺术的一种个人方式。
通过此次重回故土的展览，以曾经多次在外展出却不曾在故乡展出的“一个人的美术电影制片厂”，在这个雷磊儿时记忆与给予自己最多个人体验的地域，对“雷磊”这个客体重新定义。
在此次独立影像展的帮助下，将给予我们关于“自我与外在世界的自省，造就积极回应与对话”的可能。
During the exhibition， the short films that are going to be presented are Lei Lei’s classic works， with retrospective nature in some way。 He is using his own way to create short films， connecting contemporary art with indie filmmaking。 The exhibition“One Person’s Animation Studio” was shown to the world before， but never at Lei Lei’s hometown。 This time it’s different， this time it’s personal。
